AEROFEED
MTS-60
SERIES STORAGE CABINET FOR SMT TUBES & MAGAZINES
MTS-60 Storage
Cabinets are designed to provide orderly, high density storage for tubes
and magazines of surface mount devices in an ambient environment. They
will accommodate both plastic tubes and aluminum magazines in lengths up
to 26" and cross-sections of virtually any shape. Designed to be
grounded for ESD control (or optional un-grounded), they are suitable
for use on the production floor or in a stockroom. Cabinets may be
stacked or cart-mounted. As an added feature, drawers and partition sets
are interchangeable with those used in Vari-Cab Nitrogen Storage
Cabinets built after 1991. |

Cabinet shells are
constructed of wood, covered on the outside with heavy gauge black vinyl
fabric and lined with black static-dissipative polyolefin. Doors are
1/4" thick clear acrylic with quarter turn latches. Drawers are
fabricated from 1/8" thick anodized aluminum, fitted with full-extension
ball bearing slides. Conductive components and door latches are
interconnected through a one-megohm resistor to a grounding stud for
hard wiring to plant ground. |

Partitions are offered
in two standard designs, both of which feature a base compartment size
of 2-3/8" wide by 2" deep. Dividers are individually removable, without
tools, to create double or triple width compartments. Styles may be
mixed in any ratio, in the same cabinet, to increase flexibility when
storing tubes of different lengths. Capacity per drawer varies with
length and cross-sectional area of tubes. |
