BTU’s Convection Batch
furnace with eductor driven convection flow from 200°C
to 1600°C
provides combined convection and radiant heating at high temperatures
using our patented Eductor Technology. This provides the customer with
the tightest temperature and atmosphere uniformity possible in the
marketplace. Unlike traditional box furnace designs that have 20°C
to 50°C
variation inside the product load, this system has +/-5°C
uniformity even in the 200°C
– 450°C
ranges, meeting the needs of the advanced ceramics industry.
BTU offers this system in our narrow cross section hearth design that
reduces the heating time, and allows for process scalability from
laboratory to production volumes. The eductor driven convection can be
operated in air, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, or forming gas. The system offers
maximum reliability through the use of high purity Alumina refractory
bricking, and advanced operational and safety controls and software. |

Slow Ramp
Control
For products requiring slow ramp rates for binder removal, BTU achieves
less than 1°C/hour
ramps using unique process controls.
Dual Hearth Operation
Dual hearths allow for loading and unloading one hearth while second is
in firing.
Automated Loading and Unloading
Can be supplied using robotics and materials handling systems. |
