As an added bonus in the introductory version of the
SmartParts Information Server, we're including the Manual Publisher. This
gives you an extremely simple way to publish any kind of text for anybody
in the company to access with a web browser.
Using the manual publisher, you can publish your
employee handbooks, safety guides, MIL Specs, and ISO-9000 Procedures,
almost effortlessly.
To publish your text on the SmartParts Information Server, all you have to
do is save the text to a plain *.TXT file, and place it in a specified
directory. The SmartParts Information Server does the rest.
Any employee with access to a web browser can see the directory listing
(or tree), click on a text file name, and immediately read the file in his
browser. This makes simple in-house web publishing almost too easy to
believe! |
