DICING BLADES FOR HARD AND BRITTLE MATERIALS 

ADT offers the industry's most extensive catalog of dicing blades in an unlimited combination of diameters, thicknesses and geometries. Grit size, concentration, and bond hardness are optimized for a wide variety of hard and brittle material applications. ADT is developing ways to quantify and regulate dicing blade materials and characteristics, for the most favorable effect on cut quality, blade life and throughput. By combining this information with process parameters that have been 100% laboratory tested, solutions to these challenges are now easily obtainable.  

NICKEL BLADES 

ADT Nickel-bond Dicing Blades

The Nickel binder provides longer blade life and lower wear rate and together with the abrasive makes Nickel-bond Blades a perfect choice for soft material applications such as: PCB, Silicon and BGA

RESIN BLADES

ADT Metal-bond (Sintered) Dicing Blades

With slower wear rate than Resin but faster than Nickel, Metal-bond (Sintered) blades are best suited for retaining package shape and size in applications such as: BGA, Soft Alumina, TiC, LTCC and Ferrite
