PUSHER FURNACE

BTU’s pusher furnaces are ideal for high-performance applications, such as advanced electronics, solid oxide fuel cells, fuel pellet sintering, capacitor manufacturing, metallizing and calcining. Our patented Moveable Gas Barrier system provides unparalleled atmosphere separation and control for applications such as capacitors and powder metals sintering. Pushers are configured to meet our customer’s specific process needs.
BTU offers the Pusher furnace for processing heavy loads, at temperatures up to 1800°C in air, inert, or reducing atmospheres. The Pusher design optimizes productivity while offering maximum reliability through the use of high alumina bricking, sophisticated safety controls and advanced operational software.

STANDARD FEATURES 

Flame Curtains
Barriers at furnace entrance and exit burn off potential contaminants and provide optimum atmosphere integrity.
Pusher Drive System
Ball screw system provides continuous and smooth operation, eliminating damage to pusher plates.
WINCON® Control Software
Windows-based operating software provides user-friendly control, advanced profiling and data collection.
Custom Refractory Materials
Alumina refractory insulation eliminates product reaction and provides easy removal for maintenance, minimizing downtime.
Atmosphere Sampling Ports
Sampling ports in all heated zones offer maximum temperature control.

Moving Gas Separation Barriers
Patented gas separation barriers provide unprecedented isolation between process chambers in a multi-atmosphere environment.
Multi-Atmosphere Capability
Pushers operate in nitrogen/inert, hydrogen (dry or wet), and air or a combination, supporting a range of process environments from oxidizing to fully reducing atmospheres.

Multiple Heater Types
A range of heater types (Silicon Carbide, Molydisylicide and Molybdenum Ribbon) are available to handle high temperature applications up to 1800°C.
Atmosphere Saturator
Maintains proper dew point conditions through closed-loop temperature and water level control.
Return Conveyor
Aluminum rollers and alumina friction cross tables provide long, contamination-free process life.
