Figure 19. Gaiser capillaries are manufactured with core angles of 10 degrees. The 10 degree core angle promotes good looping, good transference of ultrasonic energy and allows for higher bottleneck of other tip-modification designs.

Figure 20. The 20 degree core angle limits the obtainable bottleneck height and reduces the effective transfer of ultrasonic energy. This is due to the reduced wall thickness as shown above. This limitation is crucial for the fine-pitch tool designs requiring an angle bottleneck.
